Refunds & Cancellation
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Try Tillstock free for 14 days. If you then pay and it isn't for you, you have another 14 days to ask for your money back. You can cancel at any time by email, and you can ask for an export of your data within 30 days after you leave.
1. 14-day free trial
- You can use Tillstock free for 14 days. The trial starts the day your account is set up and ends at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic time on the 14th day. There is one free trial per business. You pay nothing during the trial.
- We invoice you only if you tell us at support@tillstock.com, before the trial ends, that you want to continue. If you do not, your account ends when the trial ends, and the steps for your data below apply.
2. 14-day refund window after your first payment
- After your first payment you have 14 days to ask for a refund of that payment (monthly or annual). If you decide before paying your first invoice that you do not want to continue, tell us and we will cancel it.
- Email support@tillstock.com from the address of an account owner, with your business name. We refund the full amount you paid for that period, including taxes, back to the account you paid from, as soon as we reasonably can. If you paid for a year in advance, we refund what you paid for that first period.
- Your account is then closed, and the steps for your data below apply.
- We confirm every request by email within 2 business days. If you have no confirmation by then, use the contact form at tillstock.com/contact.
- If you cancel inside this refund window, we treat it as a refund request unless you tell us otherwise.
3. Cancelling at any time
- To cancel, email support@tillstock.com from the address of an account owner. Cancellation is by email only.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for (a month, or a year if you pay annually). You keep full access until then.
- You will not be invoiced again after that.
4. After the refund window
- We do not refund fees for a period already paid, or for time you did not use.
- The exception is where the law requires a refund, or where we did not provide the service as agreed. In that case, we will put it right, which may be a refund or a credit.
5. Unpaid invoices
- Invoices are due within 14 days. If one is overdue, we will tell you in writing first.
- If it stays unpaid 7 days after that notice, we may suspend access until it is paid. Your data is kept while your account is suspended.
6. Suspension and termination by us
- We may suspend or end an account for a serious breach of the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy. Where we can, we tell you why and give you time to fix it.
- If we end your Agreement because of your breach, fees already paid are not refunded.
- If we end it for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.
7. Your data when you leave
- You have 30 days after your account ends to ask us for an export of your data.
- After that we delete it from our live systems within a further 30 days. Encrypted backups age out within 12 months. A pseudonymous record of account activity (a code for the person, their role and location, the action, the type and ID of the record acted on, and the time, with no names, emails or IP addresses) is kept for up to 7 years for security and record-keeping. Receipts are deleted with the account.
- Invoices and billing records are kept for 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as tax law requires.
8. Refunds in an online store
- If you run an online store on Tillstock, refunds to your own shoppers are set by you, not by Tillstock. This page is about your subscription to Tillstock.
